Ann, a long-time Huntsville resident, has worked with Panoply since 2004, serving first as a volunteer in the Face Painting Tent and, for the past three years, as Chair of the Information Booth.  Says she, “In 2009, the festival was described by a child as ‘a children’s paradise.’  What more does one have to hear to continue to work with Panoply?!”

 

Huntsville native Patrice works for Heart of the Valley YMCA as the Director of Marketing and Development and serves as Vice President for the Art Krewe of the Huntsville Museum of Art.  “Choosing to live in the city I grew up in has given me a great passion to ‘give back.’  This is what has brought me back to volunteer for this festival time and time again.  I think every child and family should have the wonderful memories and experiences this festival offers!”

 

Even now, Patrice (panoplypatrice "at" gmail.com) and Ann (panoplyann "at" gmail.com) are recruiting volunteer committee chairmen from within our area.  It’s a chance to give back to your community and you, along with your fellow club members, coworkers, church friends, neighbors, families, and more are eligible for anything from a committee position to a three-hour shift during the festival weekend!

TAC would like to recognize all of the past Festival Chairmen
who have put in countless hours of hard work and volunteer
time to make the Panoply Arts Festival what it is today.  Many
of these chairmen are still actively involved in the festival!
